      Difference Between Wasps and Bees

      • Generally speaking wasps are shinier and more slender in appearance.
      • The black and yellow colouring on wasps is brighter than that of honey bees.
      • Honey bees look furry close up because of thick hairs they grow on their backs.
      • Wasps die off every year and new queens are released meaning you cannot have the same nest 2 years in a row. Bees live for several years and may continue to nest in the same place for a substantial amount of time.
